Hi Mike, I hope all is good with you.
I was in Sark last month and enjoyed looking at the medals display inside the church.
I am going to Cambrai on Sunday and that afternoon we are visiting point du jour cemetery and we have a British legion cross to put on Stephen de Carteret s cemetery. There are 10 other Guernsey light infantry men buried there.
I haven't got any information about him but we found a photo of him in the channel islands war website. We shall pay our respects and my dad will lay the cross.
