1870/71 Hotel, Clerk to London Brewery.Teacher ,1861.French & Drawing , Grocer ,Tobacco Merchant

In 1851 John is found living with Mrs Voisin age 48 a Widow ,Occ. Egg Merchant who had been born in France
along with her four Children she had been in Guernsey some 22 years .
He said in the 1851 census he was ateacher formerly a Grocer
The census of 1861 he gives his occupation as Teacher and Drawing master living at Cornet street , so where was he teaching ?

From 9 March 1868 he had been in a dpressed state his face was pock marked and scrached the reson not given in a state of intoxication and dirty was admitted by the Procure of the poor , he was kept there till 2 April when he was discharged by the
vice President of the Town Hospital not for long as re find him again 25 November of the same year coning back due to drink.

28 Febuary of 1870 Samuel Hutchinson a hotel Keeper age 44 along with his wife said they would give employment to which he had to sign a Obligation for one year during this time he would not become chargeable to the Parish unless he was ill.

However 10 October 1871 he had been back in the Hospital and was yet again being discharged on a trial of being a Clerck to Mr Jacob Richings of London Brewry with the sanction of the committee he returned on the 30th of the Month not being suitable as he has lost his memory
