Reginald V Followed his father as Siegneur in 1327 . Succeeded 1328 to the command of the military forces in Jersey when the Govenor Dru d’Barentin was slain .in1338
Soccessfully repelled the attacts of Nicolas Behuchet, Admiral of France in 1338. In 1339 March 12 Jersey was attacked by French, English held out in Gorey Castle and 1340 a new Constable of Gorey appointed , still more attacts were repulsed again under his command,he became a Co-Liberator of Guernsey
