La Moinerie first tenant,1565 this remained in the family till 1782 when Elizabeth de Carteret married Amice Le Couteur who was Seneshal (judge).he committed suicide in 1807.
The Tenement was sold by his son Jean Le Couteur in 1821 to Abraham Baker , whose direct descendent ,Herbert William Tanquerel Baker,holds it at the present time,what happened to inheritance by the eldest son ?
