Fredrick De Carteret, was produced by Mr Nicholas Brouard, one of the Constables for the Parish of St Peter-in-the-Wood, charged with assaulting a young girl named Emily Le Sauvage, at Rocquaine, on Tuesday afternoon, the prisoner being under the influence of drink at the time.
The Court, after hearing the evidence, De Carteret to pay a fine of 7s 6d, or in default of payment, to three days imprisonment.
