THE STAR
Thomas De Carteret, produced by Mr N Brouard, Constable of St Peter-in-the-Wood, was condemned to four days imprisonment, every alternate day in solitary confinement on bread and water, for having, on the 23rd September, whilst in a state of intoxication, assaulted his uncle, Mr John Bachelet, residing in St Peter-in –the-Wood Parish, whilst said Bachelet was lying in bed.
